Question:
Could I keep my current axle and add an axle less set up to the trailer? This is on a pontoon boat trailer with 12 in wheels.

It's not recommended to do that as the height would be nearly impossible to match for the Axle-Less to your current axle which would create problems as one axle would bear more weight than the other when the trailer is level. Best option would be to replace both axles with an Axle-Less kit like the # A20RS545.
