Question:
I am looking at getting a camper that weighs 1300 to 1600 pounds depending on brand, which SumoSpring would you recommend? 1500 or 2800 pound rated one?

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-47 with a capacity of 1500-lbs will be a good choice since that camper is really only going to have a tongue weight of around 240-lbs maximum. If you're also carrying loads in the truck bed, these will give you the additional support you need. The SumoSprings are a great choice because they offer progressive load control, meaning they're softer when they first engage and will get stiffer as more weight is applied, so they're not going to effect your unloaded ride quality.
If you're planning on carrying heavier loads in the truck bed when you're not towing, going up to the # SSR-610-54 would be a good idea since they'll provide the additional support needed for those.
