The Demco Classic Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms # DM9518071 is a fit for a 2005 VW New Beetle with a manual transmission. Installation instructions do come with the unit but because the link isn't currently working, I will email you a link. Unfortunately we don't have a video of this installation yet.
