Does Rear Seat Need to be Removed to Install 7-Way Wiring Harness on 2019 Honda Ridgeline
Question:
Doe the rear seat of my 2019 Honda Ridgeline have to be removed in order to install the black box module? If so, could you walk me through the removal of the rear seat. Also, I purchased the Tekonsha 118778 trailer wiring kit about a month ago just to find out that I need the 7 prong round connector. Is the module the same on both kits or do I need the Tekonsha 118288 kit module versus the 118778 module Thank you.

So in regards to removing the rear seat, that does not have to be done on your 2019 Honda Ridgeline to install the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118288.
Per the directions you will need to remove the rear seat trim panel, which you can do with the Powerbuilt Trim Pad Remover # ALL648544.
As for the modules, they are different so you will need to use the one that comes with the Wiring Harness # 118288.
