Will Swagman Current 2 Bike Rack Fit on 2020 Toyota Rav4?

I test fitted the Swagman Current 2 Bike Rack # S64678 on a 2020 Toyota Rav4 with a factory hitch just the other day. When installing the rack into the hitch, we found it was too short and we could not fold up the rack without it coming in contact with the Rav4's bumper.
If you're not sure about if this bike rack will fit on your vehicle, you can check your bumper clearance by measuring from your hitch pin hole on your hitch to the end of your bumper. That measurement needs to be less than 5-3/4" inches or else you will not be able to fold the bike rack up.
If the distance between your bumper and your hitch pin hole is greater than 5-3/4", you have two options. The first is to use the rack without its folding function. The second is to use a hitch extender like # e88YR. The main issue though with using a hitch adapter is that your hitch's weight capacity is halved. Keep that in mind especially if you use this bike rack with heavy e-bikes. If your bikes' weight plus the bike rack weight of 49 lbs is still within half of your hitch's tongue weight capacity, then you can definitely use this the Swagman Current 2 Bike Rack # S64678 with your car.
The third option is to choose a different bike rack. The Swagman E-Spec is an electric bike rack that's a confirmed fit for your 2020 Toyota Rav4. I attached a video showing how it works with your vehicle.
