Why Does the Bulldog Winch Quick-Connect Set Only Come With One Cap
Question:
It looks like this comes with only one dust cover for the connectors. If thats correct, is it possible to purchase a second dust cover for the other part of the connector?

Expert Reply:
The Bulldog Winch Quick-Connect Set part # BDW20047 only comes with one cover/plug. The reason for this is because the side attached to the battery would still be live which is the side you would use the plug on as water could get into the connector and cause corrosion issue. The other side would not be powered therefore corrosion issues would not be possible. If you wanted, you could coat the pins with dielectric grease part # 11755 but a cover is not available separately nor is it needed.
