Platform Wheel Mount Bike Rack To Accommodate A 49" wheel Base
Question:
I have a carbon fiber Specialized Enduro MTB with a wheel base of 49inch . Are there any platform bike racks that can handle that wheel base? I see the Saris goes up to 53, but I cant afford $800 for a rack. Has to be the type that only contacts tires and not the frame. Thanks.

With having a 49" wheel base on your Carbon Fiber Specialized Enduro MTB, the only other platform style wheel mounted bike rack that accommodates a 49" wheel base is going to be the Thule Helium 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting - Wheel Mount Item # TH44VR.
