Is The Anti-Rattle Bolt Included With The eTrailer Cargo Carrier Long Enough For A 2-1/2 Inch Hitch?

Wondering if using this in my 2-12inch receiver with a 2inch reducer will work with the anti-rattle threaded hitch pin - will the hitch pin be long enough?

Expert Reply:
If you use a hitch reducer like the Blue OX # BX88187 for your 2-1/2 inch hitch, you may need a longer bolt. The bolt that comes with our 24x60 cargo carrier # e98874 has a overall length of 3-9/16 inches and a usable pin length of 2-7/8 inches. If the width of your hitch receiver is more than that measurement you may want to grab our Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock for the etrailer Cargo Carrier # e99047 which has an overall length of 6-1/2 inches.
