Both vehicles are compatible with the RockyMounts SplitRail LS Bike Rack # RKY11404 so long as they have a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. The only hitch with a 2 inch receiver for a 2017 Toyota Prius v and 2017 Mazda 3 are from EcoHitch:
