To determine the fit of the Thule cargo basket # TH859XT you will need to measure the crossbars on your 2009 Toyota Tacoma double cab.
This basket fits bar spreads of 20" - 37 inches. Adding the extension # TH8591XT would not change this required crossbar spread range.
