Recommended Brakes for 4300-lbs Axle with 5 Bolt Mounting Flange and 15" Wheels

Question:

I have the odd duckinch 4300 lb axle for my 1993 Heritage boat with hydraulic surge brakes. 5 bolt pattern on inside to bolt onto axle and 6 lug design for a 15 X6inch wheel. I doubt they have free backing as I have the manual lockout key to use for reverse. If these do not work what will? Trying to rebuild old trailer with rusted out brake parts so I can stop a 3000 lb boat on the road safely. Thx

Yes. The Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies - 5.5K to 7K # AKFBBRK-7 will work for you since they're designed to work with a 5 bolt brake mounting flange and your 15" wheels. This is a free backing set of brakes and will fit inside your existing drums.
