Replacement 4-Way for Trailer with 5 Wires Ran to It
Question:
The above trailer has a 4 prong flat connector with 5wires to it I need replace all the wiring in the trailer can I make the new wing a 4 prong 4 wire system my Ford F-150 2012 I think it has a 4 prong 4wiring to I have a tow package on it

It's pretty common for 4-way wiring to have a total of 5 wires ran to it as the running light circuit runs to both sides of the trailer. This is referred to as wishbone 4-way wiring. We have an 18 inch 4-way with wishbone wiring with part # 002402 which would wire right up to your trailer.
Or if you want to convert to a standard 4-way type of wiring you could run both of the wires together on your trailer wiring for the running light circuit and then go to a single wire 4-way.
