There is - as of this writing - a long scheduled wait time for the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98840 that fits your 2017 Acura MDX, but we do have an alternative for you.
What I recommend instead is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13146.
This is the exact same hitch, with the only difference being it has a more glossy coat than the etrailer hitch; they are otherwise the same, including the installation.
So that's the route I recommend going to add a hitch to your 2017 Acura MDX, and if you are looking to tow with it and also need a trailer wiring harness the correct fit is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118628.
