Question:
Considering the well priced Glacier Cable snow tire chains for 265/75R16 code PW2028C, as I only expect to rarely use them is this a good easy to install choice? Do I need a pair of adjusters? If so which are most affordable? Thanks.

The Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chain # PW2028C are an okay option for tire chains for your 2002 Toyota Tacoma. Installation is fairly easy. The chains simply drape over your tire and get tightened up with a lever. Rubber adjusters are recommended to keep the chains secured and centered on your tires, such as Glacier Multi-Arm Rubber Adjusters # PW105.
However, I actually recommend the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains # TC2326. This is a heavier-duty chain that installs a lot easier since you don't have to reach around to the back of the tires. It also comes with a built-in tensioner, so no need for the rubber adjusters that other chains use. By the time you pay for the Glacier Cables and Adjusters, you might as well just get the better chains since they'll work better and last longer.
