Roof Rack Compatible With T-Slots Provided by Truck Hero TH85FR T-Slot Rails
Question:
I have a 2014 Nissan Frontier Pro 4X Crew Cab with short box and looking for a a rack that will fit the TS T-Slot Rails for Truck Hero Elevate Rack System. I do have a couple of Thule and Yakima racks for other vehicles and wondering if they would fit. I know that the pads can be changed on at least one of the racks so wondering what fit kit I would need to purchase to work with the Truck Hero TS Rails. If I need to purchase a different rack to go on I would like to keep the height of the rack to be between 6-12” as I want the cab to cut some of the wind when we put bike racks or a roof rack on the vehicle. What do you have available that would work? Thank you

If your Thule or Yakima rack is designed to fit into a Thule or Yakima roof track, then yes they would be compatible with the T-Slot in the # TH85FR Truck Hero T-Slot rails. However, keep in mind that this is a pretty specific fit, most Thule and Yakima racks are designed to fit existing vehicle roof rails or into the top of the door jambs using vehicle specific fit clips. The type of rack foot that would be compatible with the Truck Hero rails would be an application for a camper shell that has the existing T-slots.
If your racks aren't compatible, I'd recommend using a Rhino-rack option, part # Y01-140B-NT.
