Question:
I have a 2018 Thor 24-HL with a Solera power awning and the awning deploys much more slowly than it retracts. Im guessing it has a spring to help it retract like my previous manual awning did. If so, is that spring tension adjustable and how much spring tension is recommended? I suspect my spring is a little too tight. Its not stalling, blowing fuses or breaking gears ... yet, and Id like to prevent that if possible. Thank you for your help. Regards,

With Solera awnings you will need to have the awning roller wound a total of fourteen times for proper spring tension. It could be yours was over-wound or maybe the motor is getting weak or your battery isn't in the best shape.
