Weighing Door Ramp to Pick Out Ramp Door Spring

How do you determine the trailer ramp door weight? When i put a scale under with no spring assist it reads 154lb. That is likely not a true weight as it is pivoting on a hinge.

The way you weighed your ramp door is an accurate way to do so. Yours weighing 154 lbs would be an accurate figure to use when picking out a ramp. The part # ERS160D96 would work well for this as it has a capacity of 160 lbs which would work great with your ramp.
