Question:
I will be using the WS6-2.5 on a Ford F250 with a 2.5inch receiver. Your spec shows that using the 2 5/16inch ball it can tow 14,500lbs. The manufacturer says it will tow 18,500lbs. Does your 2 5/16inch ball have a lower rating?

The Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount w/ Built-In Scale - 2-1/2" Hitch - 6" Drop, 7" Rise - 14.5K Item # WS6-25 weight capacity changes with the hitch receiver size. If you are using a 2-5/16" ball with a 2-1/2" inch hitch receiver then the weight capacity is 18,500lbs. If you are using a 2-5/16" ball with a 3" hitch receiver, the weight capacity goes up to 21,000lbs.
