How To Use Kuat NV 2.0 4-Bike Rack On 2016 Honda HR-V With 1-1/4" Hitch

Hello there, My 2016 Honda Hrv has a 1-1/4inch hitch and is it possible to fit the kuat nv 2.0 4 bikes? is there a version for 4 bikes that fit 1-1/4inch hitch? or can i just use an adapter to make it 2inch hitch without any problem? Thank you,

The Kuat NV 2.0 Base 4-Bike Platform Rack like part # BA22B-BA02B is only offered for 2" hitches. There are separate adapters that allow a 2" bike rack to be used in a 1-1/4" hitch but these cut the capacity of the trailer hitch in half which will not leave you with enough left for a bike rack and four bikes.

I know this is not your first choice but the best and really only option to use the Kuat NV 2.0 Base 4-Bike Platform Rack which is an excellent choice would be to switch to a 2" hitch, the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7322. This is far more versatile giving you more options for bike racks, cargo carriers, or even trailers if towing.
