Load Extender for Front Hitch that is Stable for Carrying Hang Glider
Question:
Looking to use in a front mounted hitch this to haul a hang glider and strapping the load directly to the load bar. Are straps from the unit to the bumper required to prevent sway of the upright right or left or does it fit relatively snugly?

I am going to be perfectly honest with you....the Darby allows a noticeable amount of movement. For a hang glider that is most likely worth quite a bit of money I would not recommend this as the first choice. For a much more stable option the Thule Goalpost part # TH997 would be your best option. With this I would still recommend bracing straps like what you see in the attached review video but overall it's a much more stable option that I would feel confident recommending for you.
