Question:
If the thinline light on my current trailer only has brake lights two cables - white and black will it work with this light? If so, how would I go about splicing the wires together when I install the new light? Thanks!

You can absolutely replace your 2-wire light with the 3-wire ThinLine LED Trailer Tail Light # STL63RB.
The white wire on the ThinLine is for ground, the black wire is for power and the red wire is the stop and turn signals. So all you need to do is splice the wires coming off the light to the appropriate circuits/wires on your trailer, which you can do with the Butt Connectors # 05731-5.
I have added a link to a video review for you to check out as well of the ThinLine LED Trailer Tail Light # STL63RB.
