Trailer Wiring for 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 for Bypassing Rear Park Assist Disable
Question:
2020 Chevy 1500 with factory tow package. I use a lighted accessory in my receiver that lights with parking/brake/turn lights. The vehicle detects it as a trailer and disables rear park assist and rear cross traffic alert features. Do you offer a wiring harness that tees into the tail light connector so that I could connect to that rather than the factory 7 pin or 4 pin connector and then avoid having those safety systems disabled? I think that if I tee into the existing trailer wiring the vehicle will still detect it.

You would use a wiring kit like the part # 119250KIT to add a 4-way to your 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 by connecting to the vehicle's taillight circuits and will bypass your factory wiring.
