Question:
Hi, I have a 1974 31 foot Airstream Sovereign. It weighs about 7500 pounds. Want to replace the 2 5/16 coupler with a new bolt on option. Do you know if they are a 50 degree angle coupler and A frame? The measurement at the back of the coupler is 11 inches. What coupler do you suggest? Thanks

It sounds like you have a very unique vintage trailer! Every bolt-on coupler we carry is a 50 degree A-frame coupler. The standard dimension for trailer tongues is 50 degrees. As for a recommendation, Bulldog's Heavy-Duty Head Cast Coupler # BD44150WH301 will meet your needs and help you to achieve even more happy miles out of your rig.
In case you ever need to use the same coupler and weight distribution hitch to pull something heavier, this coupler will accommodate up to 15,000 lbs GTW (assuming your weight distribution hitch can also accommodate this weight, of course.)
