3500 lb Timbren Axle Less Kit for Off Road Trailer that Can Have Brakes Added
Question:
Im looking to purchase a Timbren Axle-Less Suspension -for a 6 x 10 cargo trailer that will be custom built. The manufacturer hasnt dealt with such a system before. Intended use is rough road or occasional light off road travel with 3,500 pound load. 1. Is there anything specific that I should have them do to best prepare for this unit install? 2. Do you have a recommendation on an installer in the pacific northwest. Specifically, Portland Oregon? 3. Can you confirm this product will work with electric brakes. Cant see why note but I dont want a challenge on install. Thanks in advance for your help

For an off-road trailer that would weigh 3,500 lbs the best Timbren Axle Less system is the part # ASR3500S06 which has the 3,500 lb capacity you need, has a 4 inch lift which helps with ground clearance and has brake flanges so you can add brakes like you are wanting.
For hub/drums you'd need the # 84656UC3-EZ and then for brake assemblies # AKEBRK-35-SA and you'd be set.
There's nothing really special you'd have to do to install this on your trailer. We don't have a specific person to recommend installing the kit but any local mechanic to you would have no problem.
