Recommended Flat-Tow Setup For 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport

Question:

2020 Leisure Travel Vans Untiy twin bed model class C RV on a 2019 Sprinter chassis. Just bought a 2021 Jeep Wrangler sport. What do I need to tow jeep behind my RV? Looking at Blue Ox setup. RV has 2 hitch and 7 pin connector. Jeep is about 3,970 pounds. Will also need braking system. Thank you for the help!

We have all of the parts you will need to flat-tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sport with your 2020 Leisure Class C RV.

Assuming your Jeep has the factory plastic bumper you will need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1139 which will pair nicely with the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380 that is a great Motorhome mount non-binding tow bar that will fit the 2" receiver on your tow vehicle that includes the required safety cables.

For wiring I highly recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which will allow your 7-Way RV connector to power the lights on your Jeep.

The supplemental braking system I recommend is the Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 since once it is installed you will not need to remove it to drive your Jeep when you are done towing, and will make for an easy to use system.
