Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Use with the Thule Spare Me Spare Tire Mount 2-Bike Carrier

Question:

The bolts below the attachment knob do no line up with the bottom of the 987XT ski rack. The bottom of the ski rack is line up with the top of the Spare me attachment knob???

After speaking with my contact at Thule, he verified that you are correct, the Thule Spare Me 2-Bike Carrier, # TH963PRO, is a new redesign and was made taller, which will not allow for the use of the 987XT Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter.

For the TH963PRO you can use the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter, # TH9033, which includes a specific bolt to attach to the Spare Me bike rack.
