Will Reese Goose Box Coupler Adapter # RP94716-61301 Fit 1999 Cardinal Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Will the Reese Goose Box fit on my 5th Wheeler Trailer. It is a 1999 Cardinal by Forest River. The pin box is by Quality Manuf. Model number 665. Quality Manuf. is no longer in business that I can find. We currently have a 5th Airborne pin box but would like to go to a goose neck.

The Reese Goose Box Coupler Adapter, part # RP94716-61301 you have referenced fits on Lippert 0115, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes.

We also have the Reese Goose Box Coupler Adapter, part # RP94716, that fits Lippert 0719, 1621 and 1621HD, and Fabex PB-600 Series pin boxes. The Goose Box is approved by Lippert, a popular trailer frame and pin box manufacturer, to NOT void the trailer warranty. I do recommend confirming with Forest River that the adapter can be used on your Cardinal fifth wheel trailer.

I do not have any listing for a pin box made by Quality Manufacturing, but if you are using a 5th Airborne pin box now it will probably have mounting holes that are similar to another pin box manufacturer.

I am including a link to a FAQ page that will show you how to select the style of your pin box and how to measure your pin box and match those measurements to another manufacturers OEM pin box. If the measurements that you take match up to any of the Lippert or Fabex pin boxes mentioned above you should be able to install the Reese Goose Box adapter without any problems.
