Hitch For A Toy Hauler That Will Be Carrying A Motor Cycle Carrier

Question:

Hi folks, Please see the attached PDF. In there are photos of the trailer and a diagram showing the fitment area from under the frame. Im looking for a receiver, class iv, that can be adapted. Well be mounting the hitch receiver to 1/4 steel or SS plates/brackets bolted to the frame, with mating plates on the floor of the trailers interior. We realize there may be some cutting or relocating of existing components involved likely the beams that hold the 2 rear levelers. Our goal isnt to tow, but to use a MotoTote carrier for an enduro motorcycle. Total weight at the tongue will be less than 500 lb. Could you send me your best recommendation?

I recommend the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 18" to 51" Wide Item # C13702 since we do not carry a class IV universal hitch and your tongue weight is going to be under 500lbs. This hitch can be welded or bolted and can be cut to fit applications from 18" up to 51" Wide. The PDF file you provided was unable to be opened.

The following link is a number of different heavy duty hitches that are also universal hitches that offer different heights for different applications. Keep in mind these are only going to be weld on hitches.
