The housing to my two step Aluminum-Tread is 25.5 wide so the three step Aluminum-Thead looks like the housing would be wider? LC432696 2021 Winnebago 1808FBS trailer

It is pretty common for the 3 step RV steps to be a couple inches wider than the 2 step options so I would not be shocked if the width of the Lippert steps # LC432696 being 27-1/2 inches is wider than what you have now. As long as you have the width needed for these to fit they would still work.
The brackets probably won't bolt right up so you could use the outriggers # LC301704 for new ones.
