Question:
Trying to adapt a brake a way system from a even brake model 9300 to a brake buddy classic. The wires that plug into the units are different. Can i just install 2 banana plugs on the wires to fit the Brake buddy classic?

The break away switch used on the Roadmaster Even Brake and the Hopkins Brake Buddy are both open circuit-style switches, they're normally open until the pin gets pulled at which time the circuit closes and the unit actuates the vehicle brakes.
What you propose to do should work just fine but I'd recommend testing the switch a couple of times afterward to make sure everything still works the way it should. FYI, Brake Buddy does offer a replacement switch as part # HM39340.
I've linked to a product demonstration for the # HM39494 Brake Buddy Classic supplemental braking system.
