Swivel Jack Replacement For Dutton Lainson Boat Jack

Question:

The jack on my 2000 boat trailer lost the guts somewhere between the lake and my house. The Jack that is on it is best guess 1999 or 2000, date stamp is 5399 but the first two are supposed to be the week and second two the year, Dutton Lainson. The boat it came with was a 2000 ProCraft. Best model I can find is 203871B. Its listed on the jack as an 800 pound Trailer Tongue Jack. It is a swivel jack with the welded on bracket. The hole on the jack bracket is approximately 2.5 inches diameter. I removed it by removing a snap ring. The welded on round swivel piece is 2.5 inches diameter not inside the actual groove, but the total outside as measured with micrometer The tube I have left measures 16.25 inches. Im sorry, but I dont have any pictures or measurements from the extension as it fell out somewhere. I want to just attach a new jack to my existing welded mount. Would this jack be a suitable replacement or is there something that would work better.

The Fulton # FTJ120W0301 is a perfect choice to fit right on the welded on bracket that you already have. It has a little extra weight capacity, but that's perfectly fine.

I have attached a picture with measurements of the Fulton mounting plate. Your existing one should fit this. If yours is different please send a picture and measurements I will find a better fit. I'm reasonably sure that this one will fit right in there.
