I would like to get your opinion on the best bed rack for 16 ft canoe with some loading help. Preferably aluminum so it can be placed and taken off easier. Regards,

The best type of rack for a large canoe would be a ladder rack, the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # EM07705 is a great option and it's aluminum so lightweight therefore easy to take on and off. If you get the nose of the canoe on the crossbar it's usually not too difficult to push it the rest of the way up but there are few load assist options for canoes unfortunately.
