Question:
I am looking to buy a receiver-based bike carrier capable of carrying 3 or 4 bikes using the wheel tray method. These are heavy ebikes 52 lbs. and there must be enough space between the carriers for the width of the bikes. Are there any recommendations you could make. Would like to spend less than $600 but could go higher if necessary. Thanks for any suggestions.

The most reasonably priced 4 bike platform rack that could carry heavier bikes is the Yakima Holdup 4 # Y02443-2 which has a 50 lb per bike capacity. To be totally safe you'd have to remove two lbs from the bikes though. Which a common way to do this is by removing the batteries.
