Best Roof Rack and Ski Carrier for 2020 Jeep Wrangler With Sky One Touch Top

Question:

I have specd out 2 different ski roof rack systems for my Jeep Wrangler 4 Door with Sky One Touch top. I believe I will need the 8" which makes the options a bit limited. Could you review the Thule and RhinoRack options below to confirm if you think they would be compatible? The Thule option appears to be very long lead time so leaning toward the RhinoRack TH33ZR Rapid Gutter Feet for Thule Crossbars TH711520Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum TH7326BThule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier RRVA150B-2Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars RL210S2Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Leg RR576Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier

Looks like you really did your research! I agree with you in that I also prefer the Rhino-Rack option. I think it does a better job with clearance like how the gutter mounts are a little bit taller at 8-1/4 inches.

For your roof rack system, you need # RL210S2 Rhino-Rack Legs and # RRVA150B-2 (or # RRVA150S-2 for silver bars) 59" Aero Crossbars. I also like this Rhino-Rack roof rack since it's a bit more popular among Jeep owners with the Sky One Touch Top.

As for your ski and snowboard carrier, the Rhino-Rack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # RR576 is my best recommendation for you. First, because it will match Vortex Aero bars and you can purchase a keyed-alike lock core set # RRRK059-4 to lock both your bars and your ski rack with the same key. The second reason is that the Rhino-Rack Ski Carrier # RR576 can be T-track mounted. I like this mounting option more than the clamp style especially when I'm worried about clearance underneath my bars. You won't have to worry about your Sky Touch roof possibly snagging on a clamp underneath your bars.
