Can Roof Rack be Used to Mount Solar Panel on Vehicle
Question:
I would like to mount a solar panel that can charge my goal zero power bank to the roof rack of my Nissan frontier. Can you help me with the outfitting/installation? Thank you.

You could use the Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Tray part # RR42115BF as a base for the solar panel. We've heard some people use anchor plates like the # 853208914 to attach solar panels to trays like that but we don't have a specific way to recommend that. These plates can fit into the slots on the top of the tray and give you a stud to mount a bracket. This is an M6 bolt which we have wing nuts for with the part # 753-0783.
