To use a kayak rack like the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # Y04073 on a utility trailer you would need to add the Malone Crossbar Conversion Kit for Standard Utility Trailer # MPG475 which will give you 78" long square crossbars.
This will allow you to use many different kayak carriers like the # Y04073 you mentioned but also the Malone MegaWing Fishing Kayak Carrier # MPG207 and even a bike rack like the Malone Pilot TC ST Bike Rack for Trailers # MPG2100.
