Question:
Will my 2017 Prius Prime be able to drive onto a DM9713093 car dolly without bottoming out? I did the measurements calculations 4.6 × 7 = 32.2 which is greater than the 21 you state is minimum, if measure the distance it comes to a hair over 21 inches. Im confused

On page 9 of the manual for the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes, part # DM9713093, it has an equation to use to ensure that the towed vehicle's air dam, or bottom of facia doesn't interfere with the tow dolly platform and/or tire stop.
That equation is "X must be less than 4.6 x Y." X is the distance from where the tire touches the ground to the furthest part of the bottom while Y is the distance from the ground the to bottom. I've attached the picture from that page so you can see it.
Your X seems to be just over 21". Your Y seems to be 7". So, plugging that into the equation we get:
21" must be less than 4.6 x 7 = 32.2 (True)
21 is definitely less than 32.2, so you are good to go in this regard. The 21 in the example that is given is just for the example. I called Demco with your measurements just to be sure, and it will work.
