Why is There Diode Wiring in the Demco SBS Delta Force System?
Question:
When looking at SM99242 it says that it is not hooked into the vehicle electrical system but the installation video refers to the diode wiring. What is the diode wiring?

While the Demco SBS Delta Force Portable Supplemental Braking System can be set up so that it only uses inertia to brake, the kit also comes with optional tow wiring and breakaway connections.
The diode wiring referred to in the video is from connecting the tow wiring harness that comes with the kit. It is up to you if you want to use it or not, but it is nice that you have that option for extra safety and security.
