Adjusting Suspension for Carrying a Fifth Wheel

Do I have to re-enforce the suspension for carrying a fith wheel

You will need to check the weight carrying capacities of your truck, and then make sure that your fifth wheel hitch and fifth wheel trailer fall within that capacity. Suspension enhancement does not increase the towing capacity of the vehicle, but it will enhance the ride and help counteract the wear and tear on your vehicle especially if the trailer weights are close to the vehicles capacities. I would recommend looking at the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs (see link), to help with the ride and vehicle squat you may experience with towing a fifth-wheel trailer. These systems are adjustable and work very well when towing heavier loads and when hauling loads in the bed of the truck also.
