Question:
Hi. I need to set up my jeep to be flat towed. What's the difference between RM-152-98146-7 and RM-154?

The difference between the # RM-154 and the # RM-152-98146-7 is the trailer connector and the umbilical.
The # RM-154 provides 4 circuits to the towed vehicle, right turn/brake lamp, left turn/brake lamp, running lamps and ground. The # RM-154 would provide a 4 pin trailer connector on the front of the towed vehicle and would require that the motorhome have a 4 pin trailer connector or an adapter like # 47345.
The # RM-152-98146-7 kit also provides the 4 circuits mentioned above, as well as 2 additional circuits that could be used for a feed to a # RM-156-25 charge line kit or it could be used to send the signal for a supplemental braking system monitor to the motorhome depending on the braking system used.
In addition to the wiring mentioned above, you'll also need a tow bar like the # RM-522 Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain, a base plate kit like # RM-521453-5 or # RM77VR for the Mojave package, safety cables like # RM-643 and a supplemental braking system like # SM99243 if the motorhome has air brakes or
# SM99251 if it has hydraulic brakes.
I've linked to some install videos and some articles that you might find helpful.
