Question:
Hello, I was looking at redoing my brakes on my camper trailer. It is a 2015 dual axle trailer and I feel like it might be a good time to change them out. They are electronic disks brakes. Do you have a kit for them with the seals and everything? Also, do you recommend the drums as well or can I get away without replacing the drums? Thank you!

We can get you the correct replacement electric drum brakes, which is what I believe you were referring to as you mentioned your drum. And in order to determine the electric brake assemblies that will fit your trailer, you need to know your axle's weight capacity, your mounting flange bolt pattern and the inside diameter and depth of your drum.
For example, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA are for 3,500 lb axles, measure 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide (so that is the drum size they fit in) and fit a 4-bolt mounting flange. Comparatively, the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting # AKEBRK-7-SA is for 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb axles and fit a 5-bolt mounting flange.
You would not need to change out your hub and drum for new electric brakes; you would only need to change the hub and drum if it was in poor shape.
I have added a link to our entire selection of electric brakes for you to come back to once you know this information, or you can let me know your axle capacity, brake mount flange bolt pattern, and drum size and I will be happy to find the right parts for you.
