Trailer Roof Vent Replacement For Thin Roof
Question:
Trying to find a replacement for an older screen for a crank-up dome lid in a trailer. The screen is just under 14 square, with the surrounding cover being 14, the corners are square, not rounded, the garnish is only an 1 1/8. Any recommendations? The company went out of business years ago.

Replacement screens are designed to fit specific models of trailer vents, and there isn't an option for one with similar dimensions to yours. Since the company went out of business and there aren't going to be replacements, the only recommendation I can offer is a new vent.
It sounds like you have the standard 14" x 14" roof vent (technically it is 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" though), and a thin roof based on the garnish dimensions. So for that the best option is the MaxxAir Mini Trailer Roof Vent, which fits 1" to 4-1/2" thick roofs and comes with mounting screws; it can be had in either black or white:
- Black: MaxxAir Mini Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-03750
- White: MaxxAir Mini Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-03700
Since it comes with the mounting screws, the only other thing you will need is sealant, the TremPro 644 Silicone Sealant # 0160297.
I have added links below to some video reviews for you to check out as well.
