Can you Pair the Kuat Swing Away Pivot 2 with a KAC Bike Rack
Question:
Will the Kuat swing away hitch accommodate KAC bike rack? I am looking for a swing away hitch the can handle my KAC rack and swing away up to 120 degrees. I have an electric fat tire bike weighing 70lbs. I have a sprinter van with spare tire mounted on the door so bike must sit far enough away to clear the spare. Thanks

The Kuat Pivot 2, part # PVP20B, is specifically designed for Kuat bike racks. However, we have had success loading other brands of bike racks into the 2" receiver the Pivot 2 provides.
That being said, we have not tested this with a KAC bike rack before, so I cannot say with 100% certainty that this will work. As long your bike rack's designed to fit 2" receivers and the combined weight of the rack and bikes is under 250 pounds, this should work.
