Hello, Im considering purchasing the RhinoRack platform below, but its unclear to me if it can be mounted to my pickup rack system. The crossbars are spaced 54.5 apart. Would you know if this RhinoRack platform has mounts that can be adjusted to fit my 54.5 crossbar spread? We have a platform rack for you.
First, though, the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform, part # RR42103BF, is not designed to mount to crossbars, so you cannot use it with your ladder rack. In fact, the only Rhino-Rack platforms that can be mounted to crossbars are not long enough to fit your spread.
Instead, I recommend the Yakima LockNLoad Platform Rack for Crossbars, part # Y05046-39. It has all of the great features of the Pioneer with one leg up: it's 65" wide, giving you another foot to work with.
We do not have a video of this one in particular, but I've linked to a video of a smaller version so you can see what it looks like.
