Question:
I have a 2014 f250 that has a curt hitch installed. Is there any way to use a BW patriot hitch without having to change to a square shank turn over ball?

If the B and W Patriot hitch is a fixed hitch like # BWRVK3200 you can use a Curt X5 adapter in the Curt gooseneck you have to allow you to use the hitch. If its a Patriot slider then there wouldn't be an option as that's one of the few hitches not compatible with the X5 adapters.
So for the X5 adapter you'd want the part # C16210 if the gooseneck is a Curt Double Lock or part # C16220 if it's and EZr hitch.
Easiest way to tell which gooseneck hitch you have is by looking at the safety cable loops. If they are about as wide as the gooseneck ball hole and are centered with the ball hole it's an EZr, if the safety chain loops are a smaller and offset then it's a double lock.
