Recommended Shock Absorbing Weight Distribution Shank

Question:

I would be interested in one of the curt shock absorbing hitches, but i have a weight distributing hitch. Could i use that ball mount on the curt shock hitches?

I have another option for you, but the Curt Rebellion XD Shock Absorbing Adjustable Ball Mount # C83WR you were looking at is unfortunately not compatible with a weight distribution hitch.

Instead I recommend the Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank - 2" Hitches - 6-1/2" Drop/Rise - 1,100 lbs TW # GY54FR which is compatible with a weight distribution system and has a similar shock absorbing feature. This shank will give you up 6-1/2" rise or drop, and is compatible with tongue weights ranging from 400-1100lbs.
