if you don't have a carrier, I'd recommend the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979033 which can accommodate bikes weighing up to 500 lbs with tires up to 5 inches in width. The rack also includes a loading ramp, which stows on the carrier when it's not needed.

If you need some ratchet straps to tie down the bike using the carrier's integrated tie down loops, I'd recommend the Erickson # EM31353. I'd go with two sets.
