Question:
I have a Older Model Fan-Tastic vent fan Model 6500 with a 410 remote controller. The fan IS GOOD but the remote controller is going bad. What options do I have to fix/replace the 410 remote controller?

We have spoken to Fan-Tastic Vent about this issue in the past, and they have confirmed that there are no replacement remotes available for the 6500 model as it's no longer in production. So if you want to still use your existing fan but also wanted a remote, they said what you can use is the Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 Series Upgrade Kit # FV807359.
However, this is similar to getting a brand-new vent, so you can go that route, with a number of different options. For a powered lift with a remote you can use the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV807350 or the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07000K.
For an option that has a wall mounted switch there is the Ventline Ventadome Roof Vent - White # V2119-1-533 or Smoke # V2119-3-533.
Finally, for the most economical option, you can also go with a manual lift vent, the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2094SP-30.
I have added links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like.
