Recommended 4-way Connector For 2017 Audi A4 Allroad Wagon

I have a 2017 Audi A4 Allroad wagon. I have heard that installing a generic 4 flat harness could mess up the computer system in the car. Can you provide some insight into my best option to provide necessary lights to my Malone Xtralight kayak trailer? Thanks!

For your 2017 Audi A4 Allroad Wagon I recommend the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT which has a module to protect your factory wiring from any back feed and draws power directly from your vehicles battery to prevent overloading of the factory wiring.

This will give you the 4-way connector needed to power the lights on your Malone Xtra Light Kayak Trailer and will offer the most reliability and protection.
