Could Dexter Surge Actuator # DX89FR Replace Tie Down LP 7000

Question:

I need to replace the surge actuator on my boat trailer. I believe the old one is a Tie Down mod LP 7000 Will the Dexter DX 7.5 work for the replacement? Sure looks the same but the old one does not have additional bolts, just the two large bolts with the grease zerks.

The Dexter DX 7.5 actuator part # DX89FR that you referenced is a very similar design to the Tie Down LP 7000 that you referenced. This would be a great replacement solution that may not bolt up exactly the same but would still work great.
